Why is it called a "build" when someone repairs/paints/modifies a bike?

I'm preparing for my build...

The magnifying glass is to carefully mark where you whack it with the sledgehammer.

All thread and flat washers, lol
Sad thing is that guy holding the all thread with thick washers and nuts tool is actually a high quality fabricator. In this day and age of price gouging it's selling for probably close to what it would cost to make one. Unfortunately the tool is useless if the bearings are not press fit sealed bearings. It would be in the way with cups and loose ball bearings.

...and WHAT bike(s) used a sealed bearing (besides a Commando and a K-Mart mini-bike)?

My co-worker (we repair precision CNC machinery) loves to carry in the 20lb. sledge and watch the customer look scared....🫣
A bit off topic. Is the machinery business like yours and businesses using CNC machinery improving/increasing with the higher cost of importing foreign made products?

Heck if I know.

I wasn't aware that K-mart sold mini bikes. :)

Edit: My bad the bearings don't need to be sealed, just press fit.

We're busy.
Japanese & Taiwanese machinery.
The US made stuff is not as high precision as what we sell.
I have been to the Cincinnati Machinery "city".
A reminder of the golden years.
