I have managed to get a gimeca front caliper and an 12'' RGM disc for my MK111 and would like to get the original lockheed master cylinder re-sleeved as everyone seems to suggest. Does anyone know who can be relied on to do the job properly in Australia ? Prefer east coast.

Johno,

Its deadset easy. Buy one of the sleeve kits and have a local fitting shop do it. Instructions come with the kit. Talk to RGM if you dont have the kit.

I have the drill and tap if you need to borrow it.

Cheers

Halray or
BHSS

Most of the brake shops for motorcars can arrange for resleeving. I've had two Lockheed racing master cylinders done . Just chuck them on the counter and go back a week later with your $50.

Thanks Fellas,
I make a few phone calls. Just noticed my LHS switchgear is damaged, so I may go down the path of a new modern master cylinder with new switch gear.

The Sparx ones aren't too expensive. Or find a used Lucas.
