Thanks Guys, a M/C shop that I'm associated with sent an email enquiry to Pazon but I'm yet to have a reply.

It can be easier to just contact them by phone (being in Katikati)
Any email I have sent has been answered within the same day or the next.

Great products and from my experience, great communication.
I seem to remember the folk there have a past link to Boyer ?

Thanks Time Warp, yes have just received correspondence so am going ahead with the Altair and thanks everyone for the input it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Derek I appreciate your comments, the reason that I am going with Pazon is that they are local, over the years I have had a number of problems with product I have sourced from the UK and from New Zealand the cost of returning product is just to expensive, with this mk3 build I think it has got worse, possibly they are running out of original sample products to compare, but as an enthusiast that has been playing with these toys for many years I am starting to feel I am getting to old to continue playing!

You are never too old until you die. You can buy a MK 1V Boyer for under $150 , which is nothing in the world of ignitions , but enjoy that Pazon.

I just bought a Boyer MkIV kit, but didn't get it for $150. Bought it from somebody in the same state, not all the close though. I suppose I should have looked harder for a better price.

I agree about the price of the basic EI products being reasonable. Try building a Pro Touring 60's Muscle car if you want to spend some money.

Anyway, my intention is to test the hype surrounding the theoretical improvement difference between the MkIII and MkIV box. I'm hoping it's not just a different sticker on the box, cuz I'm real tired of that kickback crap on my pseudo battery less setup. I got the Boyer because it is the least amount of rework. All I need to do is swap black boxes.

The SureFire Pazon looks like the same thing Boyer is selling to me. I'm sure it's magical, but that's what I see when I look at it.

Good luck. I'm sure the Pazon will do the job.

And recheck the timing. I had a couple of degrees difference when I swapped mine out. MKIII to a MKIV.

Yes indeed. I read that somewhere in this forum a while back. Not sure if it was your post, but it stuck as unusual, since the pickup(s) on the stator plate isn't/aren't being moved, and I have not forgotten it. I planned on checking the timing regardless.

Boyer Bransden themselves call it out in the installation guide for the MK4
