Where would one find Amal specs?

Where would one find Amal specs? I am setting up a set of carbs for my 72 Commando standard engine. It had number five slides before and the rebuilder shipped number three which he thinks is correct. I'd also like to know what jets it should have come with. My manual seems a bit deficient here, unless it is me looking in the wrong spot.

220 230 main
was factory but I have to run a 190 main in mine at sea level to 5,000 feet. I guess the newer fuels with originators is why the leaner main in mine
