I know this has been discussed before, and I went back and checked some old posts, so just a couple of quick questions. When building up a mk111 rear wheel, stock rim and new SS spokes, would it be ok to use the 3-1/8' figure as a baseline starting point for the offset? What about a baseline for the front wheel? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Don

I don't know but laced mine mounted on bike so just laced em up to center rims to spine. On the front brake rim one should lace and almost finish, the almost straight vertical disc side spokes first before beginning to snug the opposite spokes.

I measured mine before I disassembled my mk3 wheels: Front 2.713" and rear 3.166, measured with the flat of the milled part that the disk is screwed down and a marker in the center of the rim and I measured with a caliper.
