Two problems with waiting:

A) how long will you have to wait ??
B) if / when Norton do make something, what gives you any confidence they’ll make what you want ??

If there is a bike currently available that you want, I’d buy it.
 
I agree, waiting is useless.
If you buy something that appeals to you now, the worst that can happen is that Norton introduce a bike that is more appealing to you.
In that case, you trade in your new bike for the Norton, and lose a bit of money, but at least you enjoyed the other bike for a while. WIN!
If Norton don't introduce an appealing machine, you continue to enjoy the other bike that you bought and continue to ride. WIN!
During this time, you don't sit about cursing Norton for not introducing a bike that you want to buy.
The way I see it, It's a win/win.

You are absolutely right… I know what I want and I want it now…also buying tea bags singularly.

Have ridden one already and it’s very good.
Owned Guzzi’s previously Breva 1100 and a 1200 Sport Corsa . Very good but not quite good enough..V100 is ticks the boxes. A more powerful Italian Norton .
If that makes sense.

Have ridden the RS as well, it’s as long as a barge and is massively heavy. The engine is very good but the bike is not nimble.
Was so pleased to get back onto my KTM 1290s.
Also my wife thought the pillion position was not a good place to be.
 
Can’t see TVS/Norton releasing a 300 adventure bike into the European/US market badged Norton - but who knows. No information means we’re gonna keep joining the dots ourself!

The 961 appears to be selling rapidly with the current deal - with new buyers popping up on the FB site at pace. When the time comes to choose to keep the bike and make the final payment (12K) or return it, the 961 will likely no longer be available. So, this beutiful machine will no doubt be the last ‘old school’ bike (air cooled, push rod, parallel twin) Norton ever makes.

Bikes purchased under the deal will be proven, relatively low mileage examples (given deal mileage restrictions). Wonder if Norton are hedging their bets that a good number will elect to keep them for that reason, or choose to upgrade to a new model?

Desperate bid to up sales, or a smart marketting tactic?

The Stelvio is very top heavy.
It’s not just riding the bike as you know, it’s pushing it about the garage , slippery wet metal decks on the ferry.
I have an 890 KTM presently which is just about perfect. (don’t mention the camshaft)
Why do I need to change? answers on a post card.
 
Missed the boat? Well for a lot of us on the list, future models are not something we need to think about unless you wish to park it next to your
stuffed chair in the lounge. Sadly, we are running out of time.
