That is just about exactly what I had to pay for Trixie who was in very similar intact clapped out condition. A few $1000 is the cost of the ticket to step into Commando-doom. Too bad its not in baskets to save the tear down wear. For sure at least inspect it ain't still got fatigue prone comma oil hole pistons or Al head gasket. Interesting it seems there's less and less of other breeds as time goes on but not ours.

Nah, one combat is enough. This is about 4 hours away, but with ebay parts prices, takes all the fun out of restoring a Commando. Used to be cheap.
 
Hey Matt, if you want to buy it, I could probably be persuded to drag it down to Souther California and get it shipped for you. Even better, if you want start sending mass quantities of money to me, I will rebuild it and ride it for you. I AM such a giver.
