That really isn't my favourite Commando styling job. The short rear shocks give a strange swing-arm angle too. I can't imagine that it is as efficient as standard.

CNW has a common style that is MOSTLY typical to thier builds, and that is LOW-slung and brightly colored. Some of thier particular builds including the cafe model they are selling as a general-market bike are more along the lines of what the "rest of the world" likes (except maybe one or two people we could mention).

You will have to search long and hard to equal the quality of craftsmanship and materials used, fit and finish, and innovation. You may not like thier styling, but you can't fault the bikes on ANY technical points.

Which you would rightfully expect for $24.5K plus a donor bike.

When you look at what goes into those bikes, and consider the quality of workmanship, it's not that bad a price.

I don't care for their customs, but they'll build your bike any way you want it. At least this one is being ridden and enjoyed instead of hanging from the ceiling of the owner's Harley dealership (yes, that's what happened to another of their bikes).

Yes, CNW #13. This happens when a Harley crashes into a Norton. One can't fault the builder but can the owner who comissioned such a thing. I'd still ride it but just change out the front fender, the bars and eventually get rid of the purple accents.

I'm just jealous that Matt gets paid to play with Nortons all day while I have to work a 50 hour week to be able to afford a few trinkets for my toys.

You have enough bikes to start a dealership yourself.
Generally I like what CNW does to their Commando projects. This one is not my favorite but if the owner likes it then thumbs up to him, I say. He couldn't ride it up north where I come from because we have corners where you have to lean, and great big holes in the road.
I am not a purest...I like the fact there are people that want to reflect their personality onto their bike, in terms of syle. I also like to see concours examples, but you won't catch me critisising a bike coz it has the wrong type of hex heads or whatever.
I also love to see cafe racer Commandos. But I would, I have a Triton :P
