What is this bracket for??? (2017)

To either side of the coils I have fitted "L" brackets...... what are they used for???

That's where the Lucas 9H horns were fitted to Police Interpols, before most converted to air horns mounted by the panniers.
Looks like you bike is ex police.

I have been searching for a picture of how to mount the horns on my Interpol build. I never thought of a "L" bracket and supporting the horns off a horizontal flyer. I was trying to come up with a complicated way to have the horn mounting bracket clear the bulge of the coils. The KISS principle strikes again!
