My Feb '69 Fastback has a narrow front guard 4 3/8 wide with a rolled front lip no rolled rear lip and steel with a narrow stay complete with a cable guide [ I also have 2 spares the same] my Mk3 850 has a stainless front again with a front rolled lip no bottom lip 4 3/4 wide. As has previously been reported the 68-70 R, S, and Roadster had a rear steel guard with an indentation for a tyre pump which clipped to the frame, I believe the '71 and early '72 were steel and later on a change to stainless.
