What a wonderful day!

Bloody full of overacting drama queens with the (very) rare moments of brilliance. ...and I don't just mean USA & Belgium!
"Oh my god, my shin is broken, I'm in agony and it's all his fault - oh wait! A penalty has been awarded. I'm completely fine now!"
Bah, humbug!

USA - Belgium : 1- 4
Normally I am not such a big football fan, but this was fun to watch.
Especially knowing that (almost) the entire world is rooting for you.
Justice prevailed!

I’m sure that the whole team were incensed and even more determined to win. Congratulations. ( but don’t do the same on Saturday) 🤣

Spot on.

What I been through in the last 6 1/2 months, everyday is a wonderful day, just waking up and breathing still, I am not a soccer fan and never will be, our mighty Queensland team lost the Origin series the other night against NSW and a few bad decisions went against our side, the video refs got it wrong and they admitted after the game was over, but we are still ahead of NSW with how many Origin series we have won since 1980 when the series started each year, now that is real tough footy being played, with a few biffs thrown in,
Soccer might be big over in Europe countries but here in Australia we play hard football, none of this falling over trying to milk a penalty, well maybe lol, contact sports, win or lose as long as it was a good hard game and if there was a bit of blood thrown in, all the better, none of this nancy stuff, but then with all the rule changes over the last 10 years seems a lot of players are becoming nancie's and over paid, some are spoiled brats off the field and think they are better than everyone else.

I might upset a few soccer fans, but I watched a full game once, nil all and they decide the game by a penalty shoot out W T F.
I knew Australia would get knocked out of the world cup pretty quick as we are just not a soccer nation, simple as that, we have a very good local junior soccer club not far from me, The Bulldogs, but they put on a great fireworks display after every session even for such a small club.
