Interesting Triumph bringing out another Cafe Racer. Agree with the man - doesn’t match the Thruxton in the looks department. Be a hoot to ride no doubt
!
The bike in that photo was built less than 10 years ago.I picked up this like 65 Ducati.
Been sitting as a display piece at a Ducati dealer for 20+ years, I was told by the seller.
He claims it’s never been ridden and looking in the cylinder with a borescope, it appears he’s right.
Couldn’t get it to idle, had to clean carb, install a new battery (total loss ignition) Change oil and fresh gas.
That's a pretty Duck from days gone by.I picked up this like 65 Ducati.

You’ve become a true Ducatista !Sounds very healthy.
See, that's how you do an overpriced bike!!! Service nightmare like the rest of them since the engine is a frame member but again...its super premium. I'm torn about liking the design, but it's hard to beat its lines.Ducati is bringing back the cafe. https://www.ducati.com/us/en/bikes/heritage/formula-73
I own 6. What can I say.You’ve become a true Ducatista !
You’re either a big ‘cylinders’ guy or you ain’tI saw the 73 on a YouTube video, slick thing. Colors are reminiscent of the Paul Smart. Faring has an MV flavor.
Just wish Ducati would use the Panigale twin motor, or come up with an air-cooled twin with internal cam chains, and do away with cam belts once and for all. And of course, they've added periodic tightening of spokes to the maintenance chore. Cool mags would have been better.
The Beemer is pretty cool to, but those cylinders sticking out sideways, I'll never get used to that!
