Wes took this shot yesterday at local vintage club.
Wes rode green '69 Bonnie beyond and me the ex Hy Ryder.

I waited till everyone but couple sports bike riders left
before I took out the head light shell that came off Ms Peel
for his smaller shell. Was feeling so safe only wore
sun glasses to scoot towards exit road twist -
didn't lean braking on the grabby drum, which bought me 18"
near road edge to hit invisible grit layer in shade of big oak tree
I almost hit in slide on grass into brush @ 25 mph
But hey got repeated comments - man that thing is quick : )

Wes said it was as graceful a crash as could be
He also thinks I'm blessed by Angle of Luck.
Well yeah duh, still here.

If anyone got a decent non show quality spare
7.5" shell and guts and lens and ring, I'm in market, again.

hobot - weird bike laid on me on its LH side but only
my R knee and forearm got a scratch.

Aw man that's a hobby of mine,
just when I get on two wheels its like a fish to water,
in strong under tow in rough reef with predators lurking everywhere.

I was wondering how I'd like the Corbin sleek seat after couple+
hours, found out its too hard and wide for a bony butt like mine.
Will stick to my thick soft ClubMan's cafe seat or over stuffed lounge
King/Queen seat.

I got a shell and ring from RGM last week that was a real good price, even with the shipping, it was under $60USD. Emgo brand, and chrome is more yellow than blue, but good.

Thanks Dave. Just putting a feeler out for decent spares collecting
dust. I've a RGM account but likely will find a state side vendor
ready to deal or ebay.
Fortunately the mount ear that got folded up was the rusted up one
while the other side was all shiny and not injured.
I've got a spare hanging in the way in my shed.

Wes Commando is the worse one I've ever ridden, scary
bad from fork upset just flowing with traffic through
tighter curves. So will be opportunity to go though forks
and get em sweet and stable.
