Hey Guys,

Don’t underestimate the impact that the carbon wheels make to the 961, it is transformational. The bike turns in much more easily and is more flickable, changing direction with more immediacy. This is confidence inspiring. This is principally because of the marked reduction in unstrung weight.

They are expensive however I do not regret the purchase. I would challenge anyone to identify another enhancement that offers greater performance.

I agree that the wire wheels look more in keeping with my Cafe Racer however, I will not be re-fitting them.

Not to mention less rotational mass, less to accelerate less to slow down. Less gyroscopic effect when turning.

And I'd have made it home with tubeless tires when I picked up a nail and a Harley biker offered me a plug kit and a compressor. But nooooooo
