We’ll…it says Norton on it.

Why on earth do they print:

'Norton is keen to emphasize that this is a road-going superbike and not a race machine with mirrors.'

And then harp on that:

'Bodywork is small, so it’s hard to get properly tucked in. That’s not a problem at a relatively short track like Mallory but would become an issue at the bigger circuits like Silverstone or Mugello.'

?????

Why not berate it for having no luggage space or sidecar attachment points? It's got a telly, why no radio??

Some people want ‘fast’ yet are still realistic enough to understand that they simply do not need the fast-‘est’.

Add to that, people who want something different, something classy, etc and there’s your market.

Just like those who buy Aston Martins. There are plenty of cheaper / faster alternatives, but if you want an Aston, you pretty much want an Aston.

However, just how big that market is for Norton, we will have to wait and see…
