Or my take on a fastback, doesnt quite have the bulge of the real one, the taillight shape is lofted forward.

Cheesy, out of curiosity – how accurate are your models, especially the frame and how did you gather the data? 3d scan, FARO arm or good old yardstick and frame checking drawing?

Unfortunatly no FARO arm. The models are slowly getting more accurate though, going from pictures on the net to measuring bits when I have the time, some of the parts would not fit in the original mold but would be perfectly functional if made as drawn. Now as for the frame at the moment it is a single surface model, it was drawn from the frame checking picture in the PDF manual which is floating around the place, it is not correct though some of the dimensions cant work. I will measure my frame to correct it at some stage though, as well as making individual parts and an assembly of it.

So I had to try a couple of engines in a feather bed

BTW: The ratchet top is the wrong way round (just in case you want to intensify your Norley research). That round thingie with the three threads is where the gear change goes to so it is on the left originally.

Are you playing with real engines?

I have been playing around with tanks, somehow this one is almost as big as an interstate and looks kind of cool as well

sheeze some folks just can't suspend reality to appreciate the magic that holds the swing arm in the picture.
