I'm curious if anyone has access to schematics showing the dihedral angle of the valve guide bores in relation to the axis of the head. Looked high and low but can't find anything to confirm the factory specs.

Thanks

Standard Commando heads have intake valves at 28 degrees from vertical and exhausts at 30. Short stroke 750 and AMA 750 heads had intake changed to 26.5 degrees to allow big intake valve.

This snip form the Norton Service Release for high performance mods shows the general layout of the valves in relation to the pistons, and may provide some of the info you are looking for. Note that it shows both valve reliefs in the pistons at 30 degrees, but don't let that confuse you. The intake vavle guide is at 28 degrees.

Thanks Ken, exactly what I'm looking for, that gives intake dihedral of 115.2° and exhaust of 116.9° for anyone interested
