TSS engine on ebay

I have just seen this on ebay. Anybody interested?

The castings of the head look a bit rough and the rocker shaft on the inlet side looks as if it needs a cover on or something?

The castings on them are rough, but they were plastered over in ridiculously thick powder coating by the factory!

The inlet rocker shaft does t have a cover, but the inlet and exhaust shafts do look miss matched to me.

Looks like a decent engine, price is looking that way, too...

Trouble is, like any engine, it’s what it’s like on the inside that counts.

These engines have their own foibles: chrome rocker shafts that can flake, head gasket design poor, head can crack, seats fall out, cams wear, liners drop, big end shells unique.

And given the scarcity of parts, it makes it a bit of a gamble IMHO.

oh I thought you were talking about the old Enfield Interceptor...:=(
