I have his solid rear axle kit on a 71, kept original wheel hub and brake drum/sprocket. Relaced wheel with new rim and changed all bearings in both hubs so I’m sorta familiar. What’s up?
I’m building an extra set of aluminum wheels for my 74 fastback and was just curious if I anyone had a reason to use his brake hub or keep my original. I’m leaning toward keeping th original wheels stock.
Yeah I just went with the solid rear axle cause the two axle three bearing threaded stub thing freaked me out. 1st Norton, lotsa idiosyncrasies to wrap my head around. original brake hub from 71 still doing fine, so…
I installed the complete hub and brake assembly from Madass. Far better cush drive setup and no more circlip issues. Brake is superior, no more spongy pedal. Just installed a new tyre, easy. Definitely recommended. Graham.
