Hey guys, I am fitting a new tricon switch to my 1970 S . I thought i wired it correctly but apparently not as it now blows a fuse .Has anyone wired one using the orignal wiring recently. If so maybe you can tell me whats wrong in the attached pic. I read an old post that said the high beam flasher cant be used with the tricon ? Do i need to isolate the wire if thats the case. Thanks for your ongoing assistance its really helpful

Both push-buttons of the Tricon switch are Earth/Ground switches, unlike the original Triconsul switch, according to the wiring diagrams supplied by Ron L (thanks again to Ron L) the Triconsul has only the one ground switch for the horn, so the second Tricon switch cannot be used for the high beam flasher.

If you really want the high beam flasher function, then you could work the headlamp flasher from a relay, and use the ground switch to operate the relay?
