I also have a home made exhaust ring spanner, but no photo.
Looks more durable than t he ABS drain pipe version detailed in the Haynes manual!

I didn't have to make this, but back in the day it helped me maintain my sanity while I slogged along trying to maintain my Norton...

Best.

Stubborn engine sprocket: I took a hockey puck, drilled a 3/4" hole in the center with a flat spade bit with points. Then drilled clearance holes for the offset puller bolts. Then froze it. Then heated the sprocket, slipped on the cold puck, assembled the puller, snugged it up good, rapped the center bolt and it popped off. Canadian Tire has a good tool section eh?

Short length of pipe with notches for use with a large C-clamp as a valve spring compressor. The notches are for collet retrieval/placement with a magnet. Rocker shaft puller-allthread, a piece of tube and some nuts and washers. Valve lapper-length of broom handle with suction cups on either end.

Oh yes! Make mine out of kitchen towel tubes some quick scissor work and toss when finished.

Obviously not nearly as cool as the frozen hockey puck but I thought I'd try. We are locked in after all.

It was your method of celebration I was referring to :)
Whilst not exactly 'made', a bit of grinding and bending on this pushbike spanner allows adjustment of the Mk3 suspensory spring, which isn't the easiest nut to access....

Here's some of mine, in no particular order.

AMC Clutch Center Body Rubber Install/Removal Tool

I replaced center studs and nuts on my dual Monobloc carbs with socket head cap screws. Then to make access to the SHCS easier, I made this tool. I can remove/install the screws from behind the fuel tank, as below.

Float level manometer for Monobloc carbs. Simply a spare pilot jet cap, drilled and tapped 10-32, fitted with a miniature hose barb.

For that PITA lower magneto nut, I cut off a worn 7/16 ring spanner to a length that allows enough swing to get a second bite.

And to torque the cylinder base bolts, the open end spanner on left; to torque the inaccessible head nuts, the ring spanner on right ... that is a 1/2 inch nut welded in the lower ring.

Pry tool for removing the chrome instrument bezels:

Made this about 40 yrs ago. I can't recommend doing this job yourself. My re-fold looked "unprofessional" = terrible, but hidden when mounted in the cup. That speedo died later on so had it rebuilt nicely.
