Are you guys talking about the H or V rated BT45's? Looking for a new set of tires and interested in this thread!

Hi, I have the H rated BT45 in 100 x 19 F and 110 x 18 R. Pressures 26/28. Lose the quick turn in of the old 90 x 19 AM20 but I can live with that.

I've just put Super Venoms on. - 100/90 AM20 front & 110/90 AM18 rear. ( I have 18" rims - 2.15 front and 2.50 rear).

Still scrubbing in between thunderstorms but very pleased with the stability so far. The old ME33 / ME99A Metzelers had started to make it headshake, although I was slow to put it down to the tyres.

I'm not sure that I was ever totally convinced by the Metzelers but I'd found them OK on a BM and Michelin discontinued what I had used previously. I never managed to get two Metzelers to wear out together so I just carried on replacing them one at a time. Probably not a good idea.

Now I've just got to find a twisty route to the Begonia Rally to avoid squaring the Avons off before they're even run-in.
