The more ballerina size slippers are nicer and easier to ride around on in lightness of control and throttle response but wear factor definitely goes up as size goes down. Its a fairly subtle difference that takes some extra throttle and flings to sense though. I've only this year tried a 100 on front instead of 110 and now wondering if I've hurt my braking ability. I was swayed by the almost universal reports of most fitting 100 front and 110 rear. The most practical sizes for my varied on/off road conditions for wear and security was 110 front 120 rear. Traditionalist who depended on their Commandos for daily transport fitted same size front and rear and rotated old front tire to rear with new on front. But shoot its like hair cuts, only lasts so long so can try various sizes till sense of tire preference soaks in. This is another reason to call world wide list of vendors to ask what they sell most or recommend plus price shop. Factory disc brake ain't got a lot of power to squeal or lock front tire, until the factory restriction opened up, then may notice tire noise to worry ya on front size choice.

I remember that tire thread from a little while back and will probably go with the WM-4 when I get the cash, glad to hear a second endorsement on Fullauto's wheel set up. Also there's a lot to be said for swapping the front to the rear and mounting the new rubber on the front. Cj

Attention! All those with Roadriders om wm2 wheels please take them off now. NOT because they don't work but because splatt says that they simply are not correct. Also, if there is anything else is on your bikes that are not correct (iphone mounts) you better get off or the correct police will get ya.
Just curious, all those who have had issues with the 100/90 roadrider on wm2 rims, please let us know so we can help deny ying the benefits we all enjoy.

I run a 120/90-18 with a WM-4. Very happy.
Why so ctiticle. I have enjoyed these tires on my wm2's for 2 years. They operated fantastic and ran rather true even though I had a bad offset. No wobble, no shake. I now run shouldered alloy wm3's and although they look so much better I don't really feel the differance at 45 nor 105mph.
We're talking less than 4mm a side here. He will save whopping $1.00 per tire if he goes with the 90/90. If he goes with a 100/90 and desides to upgrade his rims next winter, he will be good to go. That what i did.
"Correct" is relative. This situation maybe a little out of spec, but not incorrect IMHO.
I do run my mouth through experience.

Check the tire manufacturer's rim width recommendation. A WM-2 for a 100/90-19 is undersized. http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/node/129

Hi Guys, just been reading the thread, i have std rims VM2's I am running an Avon Venom 100/90 on the front and a Dunlop TT 100 4.10 x 19 on the rear.
I need a new rear and was looking at replacing it with another TT, if I switch my 100/90 to the rear and put a new 90/90 on the front i know it will steer quicker.
So what are your guys thoughts on this, I don't have weave or wobble issues, hands off the bars no problem if , although does pull to the left slightly, nature of the road cambers here in NZ. Push the bike pretty hard on our twisty roads, so far no issues.
