Time flies…

Either of you Jersey guys remember a place in Sommers Point called the Anchorage Inn? You could get 7 8oz draft beers for a buck but you got them all at once. Place was always packed whenever i was there, a real meat market. Had to go there from Ocean City cause OC was a dry town back then. I loved NJs 18 year old drinking age.
While I never went , I do recall the Anchorage . The big one was Tony Mart’s IIRC . Also , Ocean City ( or Philly by the sea ) is still a dry town AFAIK .

No, I've only been to Ocean City once, and that was 50+ years ago. Too young to drink. It's still a dry town. Back in the 70's through 2020 I used to hang in Wildwood. Family and friends had homes there. There was a bar called the Shamrock. 7-7oz draught beers for $1. Yes, they put them in front of you all at once. There would always be 3 or 4 of us, so that would keep the brews from getting warm. So, for $2 you were toast before you left.
