Yeah same in Sydney.
Waiting on new harness for new/different ECU (?)

Hope you get to ride and enjoy soon.

All the best.

Parts finally arrived a week late and now they say they are having trouble fitting the bike in due to scheduled servicing, I don't get it , not happy with our Aussie service at all

Warranty work and the inability to ride "in season" should take precedent over scheduled maintenance. No heart.

Well at last thanks to Steve Green at Norton and a couple of rockets fired in our direction they have started on my bike this afternoon, it must be a complicated set up with the dealer over here but I can't really excuse them.
Thanks to Norton for making it happen and can't wait to find out what went on, hoping for the bike back mid week... Watch this space

Hey ,bout throttles , my map setting is "2016 aftermarket pipe", no numbers,& my 2016 bike has factory de cat pipe& short stubby pipes!, couple people have asked, was set 5,500 miles ago in May ,ticks over ok,does not ramp up Rev,s on its own & does not stall .

Hello Richard , I hope you two are well ! Yes , I have scheduled my 2016 Aftermarket map for this coming Saturday . Thanks for your help , stay safe and keep us posted.

Different ECU and map tony. They are not interchangable. If per chance they then count me in too.

Well the day has come pick the bike up tomorrow, I'll be sure to report, its winter here so the bike should be running sweet, fingers crossed.

Well picked the bike up this morning and it's running very nicely, Norton had apparently hooked up to the bike remotely and ensured that everything was running correctly until they were satisfied.
So there you go my bike was re- tuned from the other side of the world, now that is good service.

I now have new throttle bodies air was getting in somewhere but they haven't worked that bit out yet,
Anyway I have upgraded ECU and latest map, the bike is one button push and start and idle, the bike seemed smoother to ride and ran great in the cold weather .

So the saga is over for now and hopefully that's it until next service, looking forward to some trouble free riding.

Thanks to Norton UK for getting involved and getting my bike back an running.

I'm getting my bike back next week.

Also remotely checked by Norton.
I hope will be as satisfied as your are.

Glad to hear Norton UK stepped up. Some of these dealerships need the "nudge". After a rocky start, they get prematurely frustrated. Time to put the customer first.

...The "idle regulator" must move, you can see it in the hole also you can hear it.
When you turn off the ignition he must going back to the start-position....

Ressurrecting this to clarify, the "start position" mentioned above - is that the IAM piston withdrawn or extended, or does it vary with when/how the engine was turned off??
