I don't suppose that anyone knows the correct thread type and size for the bottom studs in the yoke that hold the headlight halo in the early roadsters (1970)?

The nuts that go over this are the ones that came with the little white plastic covers. The covers in mine are long gone, and I took off the halo in the weekend and one of the nuts snapped, and needs replacing. I have mislaid my thread measure thingy, and ideally would like to buy some stainless nuts and domenuts to completely cover the stud as it was covered by the white plastic cover.

The early "06.0336 fork crown pinch stud" as the parts list calls it is UNF 7/16"x20x2" acc. to this list - however the halo version of this stud is listed as "06-1136 SCREW UNC 1/4"x20x1/2" SLOTTED " and the "slotted" doesn't sound correct. My bet is on "UNF 7/16x20".

Maybe this helps a bit ...

Tim is close, 06.1136 is right. The stud comes off the end of the 7/16 pinch stud. The small stud end is 1/4-28. You can get that part from Phil at Fair Spares. They're about $20 each. They can be hard to get out. Remove the nut on the rear of the pinch stud, and it comes out the rear. They can be hard to get out. This is what it looks like.
