I broke the damned throttle tube hooning the Rocket...
i had been doing so well, and then BAM! I fell off the wagon..

I recall a guy who once fixed his stripped exhaust port threads with a beer can he found on the roadside. But thats another story......

Great idea, quite busy in that area though. The switch gear housing and also the Atlas throttle clamp.

That would have worked! I have .023 annealed safety wire on hand.
Next time.

The JB was kind of an amusement.
This is not really a good application.

I had gone to the attic, and retrieved the non-heated throttle tube, and was going to install it.

JB Weld is right up there with gaffers tape.
I have patched holes underwater in steel walled duck blinds with JB Weld 2 part putty and years later the patch still holding.

The JBWeld worked for a short while (enough to get repair parts). Meanwhile I was able to find a heated grip kit for a T-Bird, that had the grip I needed. Properly repaired now.

...while adding air to the shocks, my eye noticed an anomoly on the rear wheel. An aluminum string....
can't be good.
