Duh, all the 2 into one manifolds to mount single carbs I've seen
have two bolt inside the manifold. Not hard to get to so loctte
a good idea as well as good nip up.

Wasn't really a duh moment, but more a super surprise since I remembered to loctite the two screws when I put the manifold on years ago. It was more of a wow I'd of never thought of that and glad I took the manifold off before removing the head and wasting several hours or evenings for no good reason. I learned to be more attentive to checking all fasteners as well as mechanics more regularly especially the out of sight out of mind items.

NO the RGM ones only use the two outer bolt

I've got at least one that DOES NOT have the two inside bolts.

True. I did that when I was not getting a spark and realized my timing was 180 degrees out. Oops.
I always make a point of making sure connections are good with a little dab of dialectric grease on there to help prevent corrosion. Walking away when frustrated has probably saved me a few headaches since I have a pretty bad temper and can easily chuck somethig accross the room and make things worse. One thing I learned from building a Norton is being thorough and having lots of patience, which is usually something I don't have.
