As with most of these discussions confusion arises from the various combinations of ECUs and sensors fitted and recommendations should only be taken if you know for certain that it applies to your particular bike setup. Such was the rush to buy these bypass plugs which were of benefit to certain bikes but I was told that the latest Euro 4 spec machines are working perfectly well with the current Lambda sensors (occasional failure aside) and so the bypass connectors are at best useless.Olivia is very technically proficient and helpful, and has a lot of experience of the various issues and rectifications. As a potential long term owner at some point my bike will be outside warranty so I need to understand what is likely to fail and the symptoms - so it is always interesting to talk to the techs in the service department.Clive
