Your posts have become a problem solving archive. Your assistance saves so much time and instead beating heads against the wall, we are enjoying our machines.

Today I drained the crankcase of about a pint of oil, strained it through a paper towel back into the oil tank. One kick with choke on and key off (single Mikuni) and it almost went. One more choke on key off kick and it went the next kick. Starting is easier and kicking is more effective without the wet sump oil drag.

When you think about it, the hundreds, perhaps thousands of years of collective ownership knowledge and experience that is available here at your fingertips is just mind blowing !
