A mate of mine has just bought himself a Triumph 1200 Scrambler. It’s a nice bike, I was also tempted a while back.

I bought him a small present to celebrate. Dya think he’ll appreciate it ?

In fact it should be compulsory for all thaiumph riders
And all thaiumph dealerships should stock these ;) ;) :D

I guy a ride with sent away for Ducati hat , forget exactly how Ducati was spelled , botched non the less , hah, hah ! …. Still was your thoughtful gesture that counts !

Well my mate had the last laugh. How? He let me have a go on the bike didn’t he. It’s fabulous !!

And no… he didn’t appreciate the T shirt…

They are too bloody good, that's the problem with that 1200 lineup.
I'm not insuring mine next year.
It can sit in the corner and sulk.

Yes, especially with for the old timers sake. Can't expect something that was built 75 years ago and has had continuous use to be quite on par with modern stuff.
The adjustment to the older bikes isn't really all that difficult though.

I looked at the 1200 Scrambler in my local Triumph emporium, its HUGE. Could imagine it being a handful in traffic.

I just rode my 2006 900 (carbed) Scrambler through 81000m. Its a great bike, albeit looking a bit well used now.

p.s. the Triumph emporium looks like the sort of place that wouldnt normally let people wearing leather jackets and boots in.

The XC is the smaller of the two, that’s what my mates got and it fits perfectly. Personally I’d go for the big ‘un, the XE.

I think thats why they chickened out on the BAJA . or why he broke his leg .
pretty discusted after all the hype on the entry .
If the pilot broke his neck , theres no shortage of pilots . Put another one on .

A complete cop out , in my book .

Im sure the 6.000.000 $ man coulda handled it , or Arni . Avnt they got any clout ? .

I'm in springroll heaven with my Thruxton rs. Whoever made them, they made them right.Thaiumph Motorcycles
