Does any one know what the correct radius on the end of the screw is ment to be ?

no takers, sorry I don't have the information either. But it appears the perfect radius should be smaller for the exhaust rockers, than the inlet. I have read on anothr forum, some people have used a car adjuster with a ball joint, elephant foot. Porsche, VW and older Merc used these. The thread was very close to the thread on Triumph's I think they are the same as Norton 26 tpi I think?
That set up is the ultimate for reducing valve side wear.

Some of the VW/porsche adjusters are 8mmx1mm thread pitch ==8x 25.4 tpi, norton adjusters are about 9/32, 7mm x 26 tpi, so with the correct tap 8x1 tap it would be a nice job to tap out to 8mm.
There is also some reports of falling, one set appeared to be able to screw in from the top

If the tread is the same as the Triumph t150/160 triples, well it has been taped out successfully. Got an old rocker to try it out on, or thread up some steel in the cycle tread first then in metric to check it out. I have heard good results in triples?

Cheers Richard

Oh the Porsche one are supposed to offer a greater swivel angle.

I remember measuring the radius of some adjusters a few years ago. Can't remember the results and I don't have any good adjusters to do again. A plastice circle template available at a stationary store worked well as a gage.
