I am planning to fit a T140 disc brake to an earlier bike, so I have a couple of questions that I am sure some one on here can answer.
1. What is the thread on the caliper mounting bolt studs? The coarse end that is screwed into the fork leg is the thread I would like to know. None of my taps & thread chasers seem to match. I know it's 3/8". Is it BSF?
2. Does the new(ish) AP Racing caliper CP2696 have dust seals for road use? I am slowly transforming the bike into a scrambler-form with some limited off-road capability so a racing caliper without dust seals probably wouldn't be a good choice.
3. Does the Grimeca equivalent have dust seals?

Thanks.

Yes, the standard Triumph LH slider caliper mounting thread is 3/8 BSF (however, the RH 'double disc' slider thread is UNF).

No.
