I have a 75, MK III. I am trying to keep it as original as I can. When I was putting the correct left side handlebar switches on (turn signal/high-low beam) I was unable to find a correct one so I bought a re-pop. It is junk and has been ever since I put it on. Does anyone have information on a good original looking switch replacement or a proper left side switch assembly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The MKIII Lucas switch clusters are particular unto themselves, earlier Norton switches are way different.
Looks like Old Britts has one used LH assembly. Call or email and ask about it.
They, the Lucas jobs, are not available new from A/N.
Maybe you can rework whatever you have and be happy with it instead.
Used assemblies do come up every now and then on that auction site but you need to be sure you want it bad enough to "win".
All the Best.

I bought a set from A/N recently they seemed ok, work ok so far and look like the originals I took off.

I have the originals I took off and would be willing to sell them. they are functional, but rough looking. could be cleaned up and re-painted.

PM me if you're interested.

I got a LH MKIII Sparx unit from Tri-corengland for my bike. Being a 72 and no ES, it's a do all thing for me other than the brake switch. They seem a bit cheesy but a little lube in the physical switches did good for functionality. Horn and high beem flasher switch combo is questionable. Turnsignal responded to the lube.

I cut the connector off and added the bullet connections for my particular application. No big whoop.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am trying to stay away from Sparx switches. That is what I have now and was not happy with it almost from the start. I have been in contact with CNW. Matt is going to see if he has anything and get back with me. I will try a little electric grease and see if that does anything for my current switch.

Thanks again.

Maybe look for a used L/H switch cluster from a 79-on T140 as it is basically the same item.

Not sure about the T140. I heard the T160 is the same switch. Haven't been able to find one of those either.

The T160 switch cluster/clutch lever assembly isn't the same (I own a T160) although it might be possible to use some of the internal switch parts.

Switch cluster? Anyone?

Can't believe this is genuine Triumph . The lever does not really fit the bracket, so the bracket doesn't fit the handlebar
