A little more info please.... Are you looking for a diameter value on the spindle shaft? Depth of grooves? Or are you meaning swing arm side play value?
With the bike on. The center stand, grab the back tire and see how much side to side play. Some of it will be the center stand mount and some the isolastics, so use your judgement. There should be zero play. If you get a lot and the engine isn't moving with the play, likely time to replace bushes and spindle. I make sue to put a little lube in there every year as dry bushes are not good.
Also....the hole in the swing arm where the spindle goes can wear getting oval shaped. This causes wobble that cannot be cured with new bushes. See also swing arm modification #Kegler or others
Like all other bikes, obviously check and restore the bushes as required, but that is only a (small) part of the solution. The Kegler is the rest of the puzzle.
