Just ran across this supercharged Commando video. Apologies if it has already been posted, but I didn't find it with a search.
Ken
A Supercharged Norton would be another level up.
And I know there are the old Drouin setups rated at 100 bhp, but if you actually use that for any length of time....
Yeah my wife just yelled at me to turn down that shit music. It wasn't enough just to "like" Nigel's comment. Youtube is full of this same stupidity. An otherwise interesting video of something that could use some narration to add the interesting details of the project, but instead the person dubs in some shitty heavy metal music and leaves anyone who could appreciate this bike wondering if it runs, how it runs, and what were the challenges to pull it all together...
Thats your best post in a while, Al.'Because I can' is never a good reason for doing anything. Hobot's Commando was supercharged, but I cannot think of a sensible reason for doing it. A better way might be to get an old Indian and hide a MotoGP bike within it's rust. Then you could give all the other idiots a big surprise.
No the crash bars were to save the bike if he crashedThe last install I saw on here was the steel triangle wings he was welding onto the frame to stop him falling off!
Just because you can run it on methonol it doesn't mean you should! My 850 runs on methanol. It has not exploded YET - but there is still time.
