Stuck Speedo & Tach needles on 961 Sport LE 2018

Hello Gents

I own a 2018 961 Commando Sport LE. On one of the rides the Speedo stuck itself at 120km/h and the Tach at 1500 rpm. The needles don't move even when the bike rides. Unable to figure if the problem is with the meters themselves or any sensors or loose wiring etc. I did change the H4 headlamp bulb & tail lamp bulb to an LED along with turn signal bulbs to LED including a Flasher. These shouldn't create issues to the speedo/tacho meters. Full disclosure on the aftermarket electronic changes to the bike. Also can anyone please advise the type of connectors on the clocks? There are two sets of connectors, the large one has a press type tab for release but the smaller one doesn't have any release tabs. Attached photos of the clocks and connector. I don't have access to a Norton dealership so that option is unavailable. My best bet is the help of this forum to find a way to fix this.

Does the odometer still rack up the miles or is that also stuck.

It seems coincidental that both clocks could become mechanically stuck, but I suppose it’s not beyond the realms of possibility. I can’t imagine how an electronic glitch could hold the clocks at those positions even when it is parked. Best thing I can suggest is, if you can find someone with the same clocks, ask if they would kindly let you temporarily swap clocks just to prove if it’s the clocks at fault, or something else. Or, an instrument specialist who can test the clocks. Sorry, this isn’t much help, but I haven’t heard of anyone else with this issue.

I have to say it seems a strange problem. I have heard of one gauge sticking but not both. I have removed my clocks in the past, but TBH I don’t remember how the plugs are secured. It looks like you managed to get one undone though, so did that needle return to zero once disconnected? Whereabouts are you in the world?

Did you disconnect battery ?
