Stator wire insulation shot

Sorry, there aren't any other photos (assuming you were asking me), as I replaced the stator with a new one and am happily riding again.

But the routing is typical - the wiring exits the back of the inner primary - there is really only one place for it to go. And no, it wasn't yanked tight, and wasn't creating pressure on the sharp angle where the wire bends to go into the stator unit.

Well here's the repair. Don't have a pic of the prep but I chiselled out enough of the stuff around the wires to let the jb weld surround the bare wire completely. The other wire was intact. Still have to carve away the excess jb. Thanx Rick.
