I'm forgoing SS on Peel's deal and glad to know enamel can stand the heat there. Maybe white at rest of engine very black to see well. Peels head got to over 425' F at times and did turn the Rocky Point kit to rust tinted darkish brown but they dang sure did and still doing their hard fastening task. Peel will have a bunch of SS fasteners which I put in drill with heads down on sand paper grades till the head marks are gone. SS main weakness is shearing fatigue more than lengthwise strength so not best idea in engine/cradle bolts.
