Hoon posting to this thread will not attract Norton Dave's attention until he returns which could be weeks or months, the site does not send out notification's for every reply, to get to him directly go to his post and click 'Start conversation' an email will be sent to him when you send the conversation.

Yes, the rotation is wrong and it would never fit under the cover.
It is a spare OEM GSXR1000 unit for my other TL1000S ( I converted one to this clutch back in 2007 with some 'machining)

I had thought about adapting some other clutch but the stock Norton unit is fine so nothing to be gained. (imho)

As far that Hoon guy, I am not sure notifications are automatic for receiving or sending new messages.
Mail the guy and see.

It had me thinking, a billet primary cover is well within your skillset.
