Alton starter Sprag Clutch starter chain.

Hello, I have an Alton Electric starter fitted to my mk2a commando that has worked flawless for the last 3 years, however at the end of the biking season i always change the primary oil.
This year i have noticed that the Sprag clutch starter chain seems very slack, probably 1 1/4 inch lift when the bike is on the centre stand, can anyone tell me if this is correct and If it needs changed is it difficult to do,

Try Jason the Chainman, they supply a better chain when the early ones were an issue.

The chain used is small, I do a big pin version and have supplied several for this application

That does not sound too far off of typical for the starter chain. They do run quite loose.
