ThanksI think most of the members use NGK BP7ES. The old non-resistor Champions N7YC is what I had in my P11 when I used the K2F with Accel copper core (or stainless core) wire and standard Red rubber automotive caps. Didn't have the internet back then to tell me I was doing everything wrong. lol
Forgot to mention that Accel plug wire was Yellow. Had to be Yellow back then. Way faster with Yellow plug wires.![]()
I might have gotten the Champion number wrong if you are using a 3. My apology to jms if that is the case. I forgot to check my memory.I managed to find yellow plug wires for my Commando and it went way faster afterwards; though perhaps because it misfired less often.
BP7ES NGK plugs in my Atlas with flat top pistons and a Commando head. Lately Champion NY3 cause someone gave me a box of them.
ThanksChampion N3C or N4C would work.
Turns out my memory was good. I pulled a Norton parts box off the shelf and inside were 3 used N7YC plugs and 1 still in the original box. I was running N7YC Champion plugs in my pre-Commando Norton 750 engine when it had a K2F magneto ignition. Ran that batteryless with a Miny-Mite battery eliminator.I might have gotten the Champion number wrong if you are using a 3. My apology to jms if that is the case. I forgot to check my memory.
