Inspection of front rame with a sraight edge & strong light should have you maintaining the status quo there , I suspect some thought they were desert racers , after the P11 .
Should hang together fine if youre not motocrossing or setting the land speed record .

I had the same thought. For a 1969 the frame should already be different. It would be interesting to see whether the primary chain case is of the 1968 "conical" type.
