Smoking engine

Same kind of problem like below but smoke comes out both exhaust pipes,i have new piston rings,gasket etc.
Wich way those rockers spindles flat face should be show,against valves(inside)or opposite?.

The rocker spindle flats must face outwards, so the inlet spindle flats face to the rear of the machine, and the exhaust flats face to the front.
