Thank you Woody850, yep it's an Alton. It works very well and has really transformed the bike to be honest. I know it sounds pathetic, but stalling or just petering out at the front of a traffic queue was always very irritating to me. ( and it happened quite a lot). A dab on the button and she's off again now.
