I am Thinking of putting a two into one manifold and single Mikuni on my 850.
Where is a good place to buy the kit?
Anyone recommend Rocky point cycles kits?
How about Legendary motorcycles?

Any comments in regard to dealings with these guys would be appreciated.

My guess is that many of us with single mikunis bought them from rocky point cycle, I did.

The price is quite good and it comes perfectly jetted. Can't go wrong there.

I got mine from rocky point. 100% satisfied.... there's an earlier thread here about the same topic, check it out. cheers,
Don

Thanks for the quick replies.
I was just reading through that earlier thread -pros & cons of amals & mikunis.
I've had the original 30yr amals resleeved but found the slides jammed up because the little lug that slides down the groove in the carb body was worn and hardly making it into the groove. I couldn't see a way of repairing that.
Bought a new set of amals 5 years ago and had trouble with one carb idling- wrong pilot jet (oversize) and an out of centre machining of the mixture screw. (five years on is too late to worry about warranty).
So with the nice weather i'm thinking about a Mikuni conversion.( but i sure don't like the square look of the Mikuni, I guess i would get used to that if the performance is ok!)

Its really a small quibble on appearance as you gave Amal a good chance more than once, I'd be done with em too to just forget about em riding with the wind. The lighter single pull of single is noticed after a while on the go. I've two Combat Miki kits, don't need either now but only want to keep one. Don't know 850 jetting needs.

What sort of pricing are you looking for presuming you would want to sell a kit?
And how old/ worn would it be?
