Show me your factory painted and striped, 1972 combat roadster black tank, close ups of the stripes and logos would be nice ( also need an original not a repaint or restriped) Were the stripes hand pin striped?

Because you asked for it. This is off serial #220272 Saved this for the painter. Hand painted stripes.?.?> Original paint but edges look really sharp for a brush. I have an original 73 that the side covers are hand striped and the tank looks like a Bugler pin striper was used. I think there was an older post on these items Hope it is of some help

Don't own a '72. This is the best I can do.
Trust me there's a bike in there!

Interesting to note the difference in the tank graphic between Phil C.. er Mike H's bike and the studio bike. Other '72 brochures I've seen are like Mike's with segmented 'O's.

The “Norton” logo was gold with black surround except on the yellow and orange ones. This is the original signal red fiberglass tank from my early ‘72 combat. The avatar on the left is the same bike with steel tank.
