Hi all,

I'm cleaning up my '73 750 and just put a new Emgo throttle assembly on to replace an old beat up no-name one. I also put on a new Barnett cable (101-60-30004) which is supposed to be equivalent to the Norton 03-1612 cable. After installing it turns out the cable is too long even with the adjuster all the way out. I really need a cable about 1/2" - 3/4" shorter. Anyone happen to know what part # I should be looking for?

Thanks,
Mike

If you are handy ... you could always shorten it yourself ... not too difficult ...

If your new throttle assembly is the "quick action" (1/4 turn) type, then you may need the 06-4602 (US bar, upper) cable-as the inner is 3/4" shorter (25-1/2" x 28" as opposed to: 25-1/2" x 28-3/4" for the 06-1451/03-1612 cable)?

Excellent! That's exactly what I was looking for - thanks much!
