Been a month since return at night in drizzle for a grit grim covered Trixie. Checked oil, still up plenty high to start w/o a dab added d/t wet sump. Dead battery barely allowed horn to click, Tickled for no throttle coughs a few times, another tickle and and cracked throttle fired up w/o exhaust smoke till 30 sec. delay the LH pipe lightly smoked then 30 sec later cleared up. A bit crazy making as last time it was RH pipe smoking to high heavens wife complaining for a min or so. Anywho 50's F clear mild wind and an eager buddy to see places we ain't before so out of here and back about dark. chow.

Does anyone want to take odds on what come back broken? Not counting body parts.

I feel a little guilty talking behind his back like this. He's going to come home and read this and we're really gonna get it.

I really hope your day is great.

It's going to be dark soon and we are for your report.

Hey, crazy as the talk is, it's entertaining. Steve aint hurting nobody, except himself. At least he's getting out there and burning dead dinosaurs. And in the end Trixi keeps going on like a good little donkey.

Just sharing the joy of being alive and feeling well w/o my main buddies I made most my past memories with. Just another perfect day in paradise with everyone going around with a sheet eating grins on spring weather and what they were out doing too plus the double taking flash backs of a pair of antiques kicking up heels. Wes and I both on new tires, good shocks so quickly got in the flowing trace state of mostly no brake swooping the curves and turns, sweepers switch backs, crooks whooptie doos and lolly gagging coasting downs from plateau top to river bottoms, grass popping up so green it hurts the eyes with soothing blue sky and tree's in bloom, all the while waving back at all the other stoned heads going with the flow.

Here's Trixie trying to blend in...

Oh yeah we stopped at a garage sale and got me a refill on 12ga I'd used up on a limb blocking my creek view aka fire lanes at home.

I did make a stop on way home down a steep washed out drive but oh my was it worth it, Mexican Tomalli's with hot salsa, cold beer and icy cold moonshine stained slightly tan by toasted 100 yr old silvery oak chips to sweeten the smoothness for eye opening wonder of just warm pleasantness soaking though plus some herb forced on me in my weakened state while listening to how crazy I was drifting their Gravel sweeper about 60 past their home. I denied any drifting i could detect. They told me not to tell my boss where I'd stopped, but she'd didn't seem to notice on such a perfect day like today.

Nice day to be called to clinic so took Trixie to get no smoke till 30 sec then RH this time smoked a lot for 20-30 sec then cleared but yesterday's LH mild smoker was clear from the get go. Takes about 30 sec for oil to pressurize head fully which implies guides but it don't smoke much on let offs only blip ups which implies ring blow by, which get my habit of wet sump splash. Always store on center stand and leave jugs at TDC so mystery is why smoke changes sides one am to the next. While riding blip ups give some even smoke but not enough to bother about or hardly smell. Much as I seem ruled by whimsical thinking I'm actually a purely evidence driven solid logic and pattern based guy so this doing the same identical thing to get unpredictable and differing results makes me think these Commandos are digital 'puter age based creations or like my wive organic life forms with no accounting for their changing whims.
