Setting the E.I. to a 1968 with the point rear the timing

Hi.
I am tolking about a 1968 20M3/27.... with the points rear the timing.
The timing of 20M3/...... turns on the contrary than the 20M3S/...... that has the timing directly on the cam.
I know the E.I. setting on the 20M3S is anticlock wise.
The question is if the 20M3/...... with the point rear the timing the E.I. must be setted clock wise (like Triumph).
